Additional manufacturing, sales and distribution facilities are located in Mexico, Belgium and Brazil.   We currently have an opportunity to join IIMAK as a Regional Account Manager reporting to our worldwide headquarters located in Amherst, New York facility while resident in and working from the Southwest Region of the United States (preferably Texas).

 

Position Summary:

Direct revenue responsibility within a geographic region for 25-50 “Managed Accounts” with a revenue potential of $6M-$12M. “Managed Accounts” are Distributors, VARs and OEMs which require outside sales representation for business reviews, sales/product training and opportunity development. Thermal Transfer Ribbons are a strategic product in their portfolio. The RAM also provides leadership to Account Managers in the region to exceed the region’s revenue plan of $8M – $15M+.
 

Principal Responsibilities:     

  • Manage and grow sales of printing, imaging and marking consumables for assigned accounts  and prospects.
  • Establish plan to increase revenue within accounts which are directly managed and prospect for accounts with an annual revenue potential of $75k+. Document competitor share within accounts.
  • Formulate strategy for prospecting and increasing business within low share accounts in the region.
  • Assist Account Managers in region by making face-to-face sales calls to uncover opportunities and to solidify IIMAK’s commitment to outstanding customer care. Recommend account assignment RAM/AM).
  • Develop and execute sales call objectives using all available IIMAK resources.
  • Develop proposals and negotiate within multiple levels and/or multiple locations in the customer organization. Coordinate agreements (letter, contract, etc.) between IIMAK and customers.
  • Conduct trainings for distributor sales reps on product offerings, uses and sales opportunities.
  • Coordinate IIMAK personnel across multiple functions to develop and deliver differentiated customer value.
  • Effectively position IIMAK as an industry leader, expand product reach, promote IIMAK value-added services.
  • Responsible for the attainment of established sales goals and management of assigned accounts.
  • Good judgment and discretion in managing sample, travel & entertainment expenses to budgeted levels.
  • Analyze territory and account data, develop and implement strategic and tactical account plans to ensure plans are being implemented maximize revenue and profitability
  • Effectively analyze existing database information to identify buying trends, opportunities and concerns.
  • Coordinate the available company resources to execute effective account management plan.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for communicating sales progress, results, activity within the territory.

 

Qualified Candidates Should Possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 6+ years of successful business-to-business sales experience required (consumable product sales).
  • Proven track record in demonstrating excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to successfully interface with all levels within an account.
  • Ability to identify revenue and margin growth opportunity; prepare and propose plans.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and use of good judgment in making sound business and pricing decisions and recommendations.
  • Proven record of closing profitable negotiations.
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time; prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 
  • Strong analytical and PC skills to include MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), especially Excel Pivot Tables.

Position Summary: The Automation Engineer will be responsible for identifying new or supporting current projects. Working towards making our core production processes safer and more efficient. These processes include but are not limited to Converting, Packaging, Warehousing and Material Handling.
 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Project leader for the identification or creation of newly designed process equipment, adding or improving on automation, improved material handling, while ensuring our processes new and existing are safe.
  • Develops equipment specifications and interacts with multiple suppliers, obtaining quotations and awarding purchase orders.
  • Coordinates and assists in the installation and maintenance of new equipment.
  • Responsible for approving new equipment designs and coordinating the purchase, manufacturing and installation of that equipment. Acts as the primary supplier contact throughout the build schedule.
  • Helps with mechanical design of tooling, fixtures and more complex systems as required by the project.
  • Helps develop project plans and capital budgeting requests.
  • Ability to develop directional and detailed cost models and savings opportunities.
  • Helps prepare schedules then tracks progress throughout the project cycle.
  • Assists with the creation of operation manuals, spare parts and PM programs for new equipment.
  • Collaborates with multi-disciplinary groups within the organization to ensure a successful project.


Required Qualifications:

  • Thorough understanding of engineering machine design principles and be able to effectively apply and use them.

  • Must be proficient in AutoCAD 2D. Proficiency or experience with Solidworks 3D is desired.
  • Experience with Excel, Word, MS Office Suite software is required.
  • Experience with MS Project software is desired.
  • Prior experience in the converting, packaging and material handling field is desired.
  • Prior experience with designing or implementing material handling automation for industrial applications (Pick and Place, AGV’s, ASRS, etc.) is desired.

GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Part-Time Safety Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of safety. The Safety Coordinator will ensure that IIMAK meets and exceeds all requirements pertaining to all safety regulations, policies, and procedures.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
ߦ 20-25 hours per week working in a 24/7 manufacturing facility
ߦ Administer Safety Ambassador program
ߦ Administer Safety Talk program; research, author, distribute and sometimes facilitate talks.
ߦ Report and review findings from accident investigations, facilities inspections, or environmental testing. Make recommendations to address any situations of concern.
ߦ Perform monthly on-shift audits to focus on a safe and incident free workplace
ߦ Monitor, audit and report on compliance with OSHA required programs
ߦ Conduct New Hire Safety Orientation
ߦ Identify opportunities to prevent injuries and improve workplace safety and follow through on program implementation.  
ߦ Assist in preparing monthly safety meetings
ߦ Perform internal audits of safety activities to evaluate compliance and input corrective actions as needed.
ߦ Review and update JSAs plant-wide

Principal Responsibilities:

  • This position is an opportunity to demonstrate manufacturing aptitude and positive behavioral attributes in a production capacity, with the intention of developing skills for potential career growth into higher level manufacturing jobs within the organization.
  • Continuous safe and efficient operation of one designated slitting machine model and/or specific product family, to include set-up, operation, change over, troubleshooting and routine maintenance.

Position Summary:
The Sr. Market Manager is a known commercial channel leader and market expert within the thermal transfer ribbon industry. Incumbent specializes in influencing and shaping product development initiatives and program integration efforts to accelerate IIMAK’s market impact while driving profitable growth for the company. 

Principal Responsibilities: 
ߦ The Sr. Market Manager leverages their deep knowledge of industry trends, leverages contacts for supplemental insights, and conducts market research to understand current market needs not satisfied along with competitive developments that directly impact the current and projected TTR global marketplace.
ߦ Leverages knowledge to define, evaluate, and implements TTR product line development strategy, based on validated market analytics, competitive insights, and customer needs.
ߦ Collaborates with Marketing, R&D, Sales and Manufacturing counterparts on development initiatives through stage gate form commercialization processes, working closely with cross-functional teams. 
ߦ The Sr. Market Manager builds alignment, provides direct and supports the sales team to identify new markets to penetrate or customers to align with IIMAK’s business capabilities. This includes product positioning guidance, training, promotional programs, sales tools, etc., aimed at supporting the direct sales team in achieving their goals.
ߦ Manages day-to-day product requirements including product life cycle management, pricing considerations, margin management, quality assurance needs, and product benchmarking. 
ߦ Works to define total market opportunity, defining competitive landscape, market share analytics, and available market opportunities by product, including growth predictions. Leverages this information to formulate proposals regarding new product development initiatives.
ߦ Prepares and presents thorough internal reports and presentations for executive review, evaluation, and decision making on go or no-go for product development initiatives.
ߦ Travel as required, approximately 50%. Domestic and international travel.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
ߦ Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree, preferably an MBA, a plus.
ߦ 8+ years of business analytics or product management experience, related to AIDC or TTR applications.
ߦ Successful track record of working with customers and cross-functional teams to identify, specify, develop, communicate, and launch new products.
ߦ Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems, analyze issues and question effectively to elicit accurate information; systematically evaluate problems and encourage alternative approaches and new ideas.
