(IIMAK), IIMED offers outsource manufacturing solutions for Class I & Class II medical device consumables such as orthopedic bracing, sterile & non-sterile supplies, compression therapy devices and patient mobility products.   The manufacturing facility in Reynosa, Mexico is ISO-13485 & FDA Registered and supports a broad range of Medical OEMs with high quality medical device production.  We currently have an opportunity as an Account Manager.  This person would be based within the IIMED team at IIMAK’s worldwide headquarters located in the Amherst, New York.

Position Summary:
As a member of the iiMED Sales Team, you will be responsible for the recruitment and management of OEM & Strategic Accounts within a specific geographic territory or market segment.  In this role, you will be responsible for growing and managing current Accounts and OEM prospects that may range from $250,000 to several million dollars in annual revenue.

Principal Responsibilities:
ߦ Manage and grow sales for assigned accounts and prospects.  Effectively utilize available selling tools to further penetrate these accounts.
ߦ Establish clear territory plan which includes managing existing accounts and prospecting for new accounts. Identify accounts in territory and competitor share within accounts.
ߦ Effectively position iiMED as an industry leader, expand product reach and promote IIMED value-added services.
ߦ Coordinate iiMED personnel across multiple functions to develop and deliver differentiated customer value.
ߦ Good judgment and discretion in managing sample, travel and entertainment expenses to budgeted levels.
ߦ Analyze territory and account data, and then develop and implement strategic and tactical account plans to maximize revenue and profitability.  Conduct periodic account reviews to ensure the plans are implemented accordingly.
ߦ Effectively analyze existing database information and utilize that information to identify buying trends, opportunities and concerns. 
ߦ Coordinate the available company resources to execute effective account management plan.
ߦ Prepare reports and presentations for communicating sales progress, results and activity within account territories.
ߦ Responsible for the attainment of established sales goals and management of business aspects related to the territory or segment (price, margin & expenses).
ߦ Travel as required (Including International), up to 50%.

Qualified Candidates Should Possess:
ߦ Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree, preferably an MBA, a plus.
ߦ Medical Device market knowledge expected.  Knowledge in Sterile & Non-Sterile Consumables, Orthopedics, Wound Care, Patient Mobility & Compression Therapy devices beneficial.
ߦ Technical understanding of Medical Device Consumables & FDA Regulations is a plus. 
ߦ Minimum of 5+ years of successful business-to-business sales experience required including skills relating to prospecting, cold-calling, relationship management and business development (Contract Manufacturing Sales is a plus).

Position Summary:

Direct revenue responsibility within a geographic region for 25-50 “Managed Accounts” with a revenue potential of $6M-$12M. “Managed Accounts” are Distributors, VARs and OEMs which require outside sales representation for business reviews, sales/product training and opportunity development. Thermal Transfer Ribbons are a strategic product in their portfolio. The RAM also provides leadership to Account Managers in the region to exceed the region’s revenue plan of $8M – $15M+.
 

Principal Responsibilities:     

  • Manage and grow sales of printing, imaging and marking consumables for assigned accounts  and prospects.
  • Establish plan to increase revenue within accounts which are directly managed and prospect for accounts with an annual revenue potential of $75k+. Document competitor share within accounts.
  • Formulate strategy for prospecting and increasing business within low share accounts in the region.
  • Assist Account Managers in region by making face-to-face sales calls to uncover opportunities and to solidify IIMAK’s commitment to outstanding customer care. Recommend account assignment RAM/AM).
  • Develop and execute sales call objectives using all available IIMAK resources.
  • Develop proposals and negotiate within multiple levels and/or multiple locations in the customer organization. Coordinate agreements (letter, contract, etc.) between IIMAK and customers.
  • Conduct trainings for distributor sales reps on product offerings, uses and sales opportunities.
  • Coordinate IIMAK personnel across multiple functions to develop and deliver differentiated customer value.
  • Effectively position IIMAK as an industry leader, expand product reach, promote IIMAK value-added services.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • This position is an opportunity to demonstrate manufacturing aptitude and positive behavioral attributes in a production capacity, with the intention of developing skills for potential career growth into higher level manufacturing jobs within the organization.
  • Continuous safe and efficient operation of one designated slitting machine model and/or specific product family, to include set-up, operation, change over, troubleshooting and routine maintenance.
  • Continuous safe and efficient packing, shrink wrapping and spooling responsibilities.
  • Perform daily audits and accountable for quality.
  • Maintain accurate and legible documentation.
  • Daily equipment/tool inspection and accountability.
  • Monitor equipment status and communicate issues to Lead and Supervisor in timely manner.
  • Communicate equipment, product quality and job status to oncoming shift.

  • Stock and organize warehouse shelves following safety procedures
  • Perform routine transactions with shipping software
  • Operate warehouse machinery such as - pallet jacks, lifts, banding equipment, stretch-wrapper
  • Heavy equipment operation (forklift, reach-truck, walkie-rider)
  • Willingness to accept other warehouse duties as assigned

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the majority of kitting activities
  • Maintenance and upkeep of the kitting room and associated storage areas throughout facility
  • Monitors and troubleshoots all equipment.
  • Plans kitting schedule accordingly.
  • Maintains the kitting inventory while in fixed communication with support groups (Inkmaking/ASC).
  • Performs and understands, with proficiency, the procedures of the operations.

We currently have an opportunity at our Amherst, New York facility to join IIMAK as a Print Lab Technician.

 

POSITION SUMMARY:A Technician is responsible for supporting IIMAK’s products through performance testing, competitive benchmarking, & product development testing.

 

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Generate and interpret data, summary reports and charts.
  • Troubleshoot issues with printing systems when needed for customers as well as in the various IIMAK test labs. 
  • Performs and records a variety of tasks and experiments using a wide range of procedures under the general supervision of the lab manager, engineer or other Technician(s), including support to other areas as needed.
  • Perform Application Testing.
  • Support the development of product test lab spaces, acting as a technical expert to other staff in the proper use of equipment, product information, procedures, etc.
  • Support product development through performance testing, specification development and testing of SOPs.
  • Assist in the design of new systems, processes, product or equipment through new product testing, customer interaction, and work experience.
  • Perform color matching tasks.
  • Conduct training with QA Techs and other technical support staff on product specifications, and technical issue resolution.
  • Provide technical support to sales, customer service, and directly to customers through application tests, competitive product identifications, and printer troubleshooting.
  • Conduct product training/demonstrations with both internal and external customers.
  • May involve travel to customer sites.
  • Perform periodic maintenance on lab equipment as needed, including cleaning tasks.
  • Perform process and product audits, and generate reports of findings.

 

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES SHOULD POSSESS:

(Qualified candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of the job)

  • Associates degree required.  Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of technical experience working with printing technologies.
  • Solid math and statistical skills. 
  • Familiarity with digital printing systems, thermal transfer technology or other printing technologies.
  • Knowledge of color measurement and printing software ideal.
  • Secure working knowledge of various IIMAK products performance metrics and test processes
  • Good interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Good analytical and PC/MAC skills, including MS Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Good understanding of  the Scientific Method and other statistical methods for analyzing and reporting data
